How do I get a Burn Permit?: The City of Solvang does not permit burning within City limits. Outside the City limits, please contact County Fire at 805-686-5062 (Buellton) or 805-686-5058 (Santa Ynez).

1. Do I need to have a business certificate to do business in the City of Solvang?: Yes. A business certificate is good for one year, from January 1 - December 31 and costs $34.00. New business owners need to first take their completed application to the Planning Department for approval. The Planning Department is located at 411 Second Street.
