[ARCHIVED] Slurry Seal Work Postponed by One Week Due to Weather

Due to anticipated wet weather going into the Veteran’s Day Holiday the Solvang 2022 Slurry Seal Project will be postponed for one week.  

 

The work in Sunny Fields Park and Hans Christian Anderson Park is now scheduled to be completed on Monday November 14th.  

 

Roadway slurry work in the Skytt Mesa and Creekside neighborhoods is now scheduled to be completed November 15 through the 17th.  Access to Skytt Mesa Drive from Mission Drive (Route 246) will be closed on Thursday November 17th from approximately 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

 

 Roy Allan Slurry Seal will be performing the resurfacing work for the city, and you may call them at (562) 864-3363 for any questions you may have about the project.  

 If you have concerns which cannot be addressed by the Contractor, please contact the City’s Rodger Olds, Director of Public Works at (805) 465-7794
