SYVT Enhances Local Bus Service
Solvang, California – Santa Ynez Valley Transit (SYVT) announces enhanced service, effective July 2, on the Express Route and Los Olivos Loop. A third bus has been incorporated into the fixed-route schedule resulting in more service at those times when residents most want to travel.
The enhanced service includes:
• Eight trips from Solvang to Los Olivos with connections from Buellton. This helps meet the needs
of local youth traveling from Santa Ynez Valley High School to Los Olivos.
• Free transfers from the Express Route to the Los Olivos Loop at Solvang Park.
• More Express Route service between Buellton, Solvang, and Santa Ynez to address the needs of
residents using SYVT to travel to and from work.

A new service brochure is available at the SYVT office located at 431 Second Street in Solvang and at Buellton and Solvang city halls. Information is also available at the Solvang Public Library, Stuart C. Gildred Family YMCA, and Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground.
