Welcome to the City of Solvang Parks and Recreation Department.

Welcome to the Solvang Parks and Recreation Department.  The main goals of our department are to provide quality recreation programs, safe clean parks and excellent customer relations. We offer many recreation programs and activities including youth camps, adult sports, family trips and special events.  Our program calendar is updated quarterly and can be found under events schedule.  Buellton Recreation Coordinator, Kyle Abello, works jointly with us and can be reached at our office or by e-mail at kabello@ucsd.edu.

It is also our pleasure to reserve group areas in Hans Christian Andersen Park for picnics, parties and weddings as well as reserve rooms at the Veterans Memorial Building for meetings, family gatherings and community events. Since we provide a wide variety of services to the public, we are always open to hearing new ideas for programs and welcome your suggestions on how we can improve our services.
