Santa Ynez Valley Transit – General InformationSanta Ynez Valley Transit (SYVT) links Buellton, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, and Solvang. Santa Ynez Valley Transit is funded by the Cities of Buellton and Solvang, and the County of Santa Barbara.
SYVT has expanded its service to include a second route along the loop between Solvang and Los Olivos. The new bi-directional route provides shorter trip times for riders along the loop. See the Route A and B schedules for more details.

Dial-A-Ride InformationSYVT offers Dial-A-Ride service to seniors (60+ yrs) and to ADA-certified patrons.* Dial-A-Ride is a reservation-based service that mirrors the service area and hours of the fixed-route service. Sunday Dial-A-Ride service is open to the general public. Proof of age or eligibility not required for Sunday DAR service. The City will be co-sponsoring a COMMUNITY SHRED DAY on two Wednesdays, May 16th and June 20th from 5-7pm in the parking lot of the Veteran's Memorial Building. Items that can be shredded include, any types of paper or file folders, no need to remove staples, paper clips or rubberbands. Items that cannot be shredded include cardboard, common trash, hazardous materials, plastics or metals, CDs, DVDs or binders. LIMITED TO SIX (6) BOXES PER PERSON. |
